Welcome to the BCI Update Series: Cyber Resilience Report 2024. This new, shorter report serves to provide an update to last year’s data, as well as tracking trends for the longer edition to return in 2025.
Year-on-year, cybercrime tops the list of future risks in our annual Horizon Scan report; and the 2023 report was no exception. Because of the potential for significant financial and reputational fallout in the event of a cyber attack, senior management and boards are becoming heavily invested in cyber security and, in turn, are pushing investment into new technologies and new staff to ensure they are more resistant to attacks.
We hope you find this report provides a useful benchmarking tool to review your own cyber strategies, as well as offering valuable insights from other practitioners on how they have tackled cybercrime in their own organizations.
